ReFALLmation Dress

Look I’ll be honest…I’m confused AF. Living in LA has got me a little shook up with the seasons. I mean, it’s officially fall but I’m not seeing the leaves changing on palm trees or anything. I’m gonna miss that so much about New York. The leaves turning that beautiful golden color and transiting into a fiery red. Nope, not on these palm trees. When looking through my closet I get stuck because it’s too warm for over-sized sweaters and too cold for spaghetti strap dresses. Is it bad I’m kinda taking a little bit of joy knowing it’s warm in NYC too? If I don’t get fall, you don’t get fall! Haha.Processed with VSCO with c8 presetAs I’m adjusting to SoCal living I find myself on the hunt for fall dresses that keep me cool enough for the warm weather days and then at night I can just add an oversized sweater. I’m not ready to give up on my espadrilles just yet either and this Rent the Runway floral dress flows in perfectly to tie this fall look together.

This Rent the Runway floral midi dress has been haunting me for quite sometime. I first saw the dress on some girl walking down the street and when I found it on RTR I kept trying to rent it, but it was always sold out in my size. I guess it’s a very popular item. Finally, I got my hands on it and I’m obsessed. The fit is fantastic and perf for day or night. I’d say the only caveat is that the length is kinda funky. It’s not a midi or a maxi, it’s this awkward ankle length on me. It’s not a deal breaker by any means, but it would be the perfect length for anyone 5″7 or taller.Processed with VSCO with c8 presetThis Reformation Temescal Amsterdam dress runs a bit big and I’m wearing a 10R for RTR. It’s regular retail cost is $218 and that’s not bad at all. If you want to rent it like I did it’sonly $30 for 4 days keeping you trendy not spendy.
