I celebrated Cinco de Mayo a little early in New York with my best blogger babes Gita (@mimiandchichi) and Sabrina (@stylophyle). What a better way to celebrate than with a ton of tacos and micheladas at Tacombi on Bleecker. Tacombi has always been one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. It’s my go to spot to take friends in town visiting. Tacombi is super fun and lively and the decor is on point. Not to mention the prices are fairly inexpensive. Every time I take friends here and we get the check I say, “don’t get use to this, everywhere else is crazy pricey.” The best part about Tacombi is the food is incredible for half the cost. From great food, to amazing decor, and good prices what’s not to love about Tacombi?

Feeling in the Cinco de Mayo spirit I put on my new ASOS off the shoulder sundress with embroidered sleeves. This dress gave me plenty of room to crush tacos comfortably. The price of the dress was also comfortable on the wallet coming in at $51. I wanted to match the detailed sleeves, so I paired the dress with my new Forever 21 yellow mules and Stella and Dot clutch (similar linked below). I’m obsessing over these yellow shoes right now because they make all my outfits more fun with the pop of color.
I’ve always had the best luck with Forever 21 shoes. The quality of everything I find is great and the price is super affordable. It may take a few wears to break in, but then they become my goto shoes. All my “wedding heels” from Forever 21 last me through every wedding and all the way through the night dancing on the dance floor.
Speaking of weddings I’m currently back in California heading down to a friends wedding in Carmel today. I can’t wait to see our friends get hitched tomorrow. I’m wishing you all a fun and safe Cinco de Mayo. May your tequila shots be complete with salt and lime and your tacos be tasty AF. Adios!
