It’s cold as hell in New York now and it’s important to wear clothes to keep you warm and toasty. The key is finding quality sweaters. It’s important to keep it cute and creative with your sweaters. New Yorkers don’t believe in “beauty is pain” and they are very practical people and bundle up. I knew I wanted a warm and stylish sweater for Valentine’s Day brunch.
Luckily, the amazing team at ShopStyle kept me warm and stylish this freezing Valentine’s Day. This weekend I attended the ShopStyle Social House and was able shop the racks of clothing from fabulous designers. The choices were endless. It was love at first site when I snagged this Derek Lam fringe detailed top off the rack. There wasn’t any other sweater that I’d want to Be Mine. It was the perfect sweater for the holiday. I paired the sweater with my go to black skinny jeans and leather riding boots However, it’s Valentine’s Day after all and needed a pop of red. Combined with a bright red lip and red Stella Dot clutch I was ready to go.
On a day full of love I have to say I LOVED this Derek Lam fringe top. Seriously, just wait until you see the close up pictures below. Why be basic when you can find a top with additional detailing to make a statement. Using my ShopStyle app (which you all need to download) I was able to find similar fringe sweaters to keep you Trendy Not Spendy.
