Trend Alert! Fringe and tassels are taking over. What is it about tassels that just makes you want to twirl? Seriously! I feel like my inner Chubby Checker comes out and it makes me want to twist and shout.

Luckily, this dress arrived in time for my girlfriends 30th birthday in Palm Springs. As you know Palm Springs in July is HOT so I was very happy with how light weight the material was. The rope neck tie was the perfect accent to show off your neck and shoulders. It’s loose enough to not have you sucking it in all night or having to worry about eating too much at dinner. The bright tribal colors complimented the tassels so well. Not to mention this swaying fringe dress works wonders on the dance floor.

Fringe might seem like a trickier trend to pull off, but it works really well on coats, jackets and skirts, as well as on accessories like handbags and shoes. Needless to say, you tassels are hanging pretty much everywhere. I’m calling it now fringe is going to play a BIG role in Fall 2015 and I can’t wait.
