Stubble Isn’t Sexy

This post is sponsored by Philips Beauty and all opinions are my own.

It’s currently puffer coat weather in NYC, but here in LA it’s beach season year round. In NYC I’d go days without shaving my legs. What was the point? It’s so cold, no one is going to see my legs for the next few months. However, living in LA my wardrobe has shifted, my skin is mostly showing, and with that being the case stubble is not sexy.IMG_1766I live 10 minutes from the beach and we have a pool in our apartment complex which means your girl has to be all cleaned up all day every day. Growing up I was so insecure of how hairy I was. My legs and back hair was out of control. I would say I was razor obsessed because I didn’t want to be teased by the kids in my class anymore.

Growing up it’s just instilled in my brain to maintain maintain maintain. That’s why partnering with Philips Beauty and their SatinShave Advanced Shaver was a perfect fit. If I’m going to keep it clean I better do it right.

I now use my SatinShave not only at home but on the go. Real talk missing a spot while at the beach or pool is pretty embarrassing for me. I rather be safe than sorry. The best part is that you can use this shaver wet or dry without irritation. Processed with VSCO with c8 presetIf you’re looking for your new best friend I highly recommend trying the Philips Beauty SatinShave Advanced Wet & Dry Cordless Shaver. I love mine so much I have two. One for the bathroom and two for the beach bag. Stubble isn’t sexy after all amirite?
