Since the 19th century suits were always made and meant for men. It was even illegal for a women to wear a pant suit. It wasn’t until the 1930’s when the most courageous and innovative women began wearing pant suits. Flash forward to the 20th century and here we are at New York Fashion Week and half the women are wearing pant suits.
Who said the fellas get to have all the fashion fun, right? This #NYFW the girls rocked the hell out of their suits too. I myself even sported a suit on the first day of Fashion Week and I made sure my suit would be spicy as hell. I got this fab two piece silk leopard suit from Sheinside and I was loving it. I pulled it for a more casual look at rocked it with my favorite graphic tee from Forever 21 and red suede Naturalizer boots.
What’s great about this look is it’s so versatile. I’ve also worn this with black skinny jeans, pumps, and just the blazer. It’s the perfect work look. My second look was supes casual with the pants, a black turtle neck, and white tennis shoes. Worn together or separate, this leopard suit really is the shit.
The only complaint I have about this look is that the material is very thin. I know it’s freezing in New York right now, but it felt like I wasn’t wearing any pants at all because the material is so thin. The quality is totally fine and I can even wear fleece tights underneath and you wouldn’t even know they we’re under there.
If you want to play with the boys too than suit up and get out there. I highly recommend this silk leopard suit not only because of how versatile it is, but because it’s only $25 keeping you Trendy Not Spendy.
