2016 was one hell of a year! There were so many special memories that I can’t wait to share with you guys. 2016 was the year of many weddings and at the tail end of them all Eric and I tied the knot after eight years together.
In the beginning of April I had the honor to stand by my big sisters side and watch her marry the man of her dreams. It was a destination wedding in Mexico that I think my liver is still recovering from. My sister truly was the perfect bride and I not being biased because she’s my sister. She was beyond stunning and I’m so excited to have a brother.

After four beautiful weddings it was our turn. To kick off the festivities I had a spectacular bridal shower. I am a huge Disney lover and I knew I had to incorporate it somewhere. With that said a Very Merry Unbridal Shower was a must have theme. My mom and aunt killed it in the decorating department! It was the perfect shower and most beautiful day a bride could ask for. Just look at the pictures and they’ll speak for themselves.

I had my bachelorette party in Miami and it was one for the books. Nine girls hopped on a plane from all over the country to meet in Miami. Out of nine girls only two have been there before so we all jumped in with full excitement. From dinners at Lido Bayside Grill and Cecconi’s, drinks at the Broken Shaker and day a party at the SLS South Beach. It was the perfect group of ladies in a perfect city.

A month later we got married! Planning a wedding cross country was quite the challenge and Pinterest dreams were high. Everything turned out perfectly and all our dreams came true. Coming soon to the blog they’ll be a full wedding post don’t you worry. I always found it kinda cliche and annoying when people say, “yay today I married my best friend” but I really did. Eric is an incredible guy. He is so witty, kind, laid back, and my better half. Not to mention he looked like a total babe that day. I think he stole the spotlight. Becoming a Bohm was the ultimate highlight for 2016.

Fashion Week was such a fun experience. I’ve had the opportunity to work with and meet so many amazing brands. Through my journey blogging I have met some incredible women. My fellow boss babes are so inspiring, smart, and always a blast to hang out with. I look forward to expanding my blogger babe network in 2017.

We had some fun trips this year starting with an all inclusive vacation in Mexico. We had LOTS of weekend getaways to cities like Scottsdale, Santa Barbara, Calistoga, Russian River, Boston, New Hope and closed out the New Year in the snow with my husband and his sister. I can’t wait for our belated honeymoon in February and our big one year anniversary trip to Europe.
2016 was a year full of love and happiness. I got to watch my dearest friends and family marry their best friends and I tied the knot to one of the coolest guys I know. I can’t wait to see what 2017 brings. Thank you for joining me on the ride and I can’t wait for what’s to come.
