On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

Well that’s not entirely true because these pictures were taken last Friday. I was so excited to have my girl friend Alyssa in town last weekend. I took Friday off to explore Soho and the Financial District. It was our first chilly day in NYC and this baby pink faux fur jacket was just warm enough to allow me to power through a long day of eating and drinking. I mean heaven forbid I do anything else when friends come to visit. At the end of September Asos had a killer fall outerwear sale. All outerwear was 70% off. I was able to purchase this $121 Urbancode Faux Fur Long Line Bomber Jacket for $84. Sadly, the sale is over but I can confidently say this jacket is worth every penny. This baby pink bomber is perfect for fall when paired with a fun graphic tee and throw on a cozy turtleneck in winter and you’re golden. I will note I’m 5″5 and 120 and I got a US 2 because I didn’t want to look like a giant pink furbee. It is a little tight on the sleeves and I’m worried about that turtleneck after all. I’m usually a US 4 on Asos so the bomber is true to fit.
I’ve been on the hunt for a solid black skinnies lately. When the jeans bunch in my booties, it drives me freakin crazy.
