thredUP and TNS!

Consignment stores have never been my thing. Maybe, I just don’t like the crowded stores or the smell. There is a smell of sorts or maybe that’s just me. Well…the hassle is over with thredUP. thredUP is an online consignment for women and children. Consignment made easy. Just like any normal website you can browse thousands of clothes and all your favorite brands are discounted up to 90% off. There is a huge range of brands from Madewell, Zara, Ralph Lauren, etc . I’ve had monthly subscriptions to a few clothing and jewelry companies and everything comes in perfect condition and cute packaging. So does thredUP.

Standard shipping goes for $5.99 and on your door you’ll get a pretty teal and pocka dot package. The packaging inside is adorable and the clothes look brand new. So, what did I get… 4 things for $50. Yup…that’s right. I can’t get enough of this Eddie Bauer denim maxi skirt. It’s a little different for me but I’m seriously obsessed. I feel like Brenda Walsh in 90210, it’s so 90’s. It’s okay, I’ll rock the hell out of it.

I’ve now worn this denim maxi skirt for a few occasions and in all different weather. The weather in NYC has been so depressing. We had a few days this Spring where it was nice and I was able to rock the skirt with a black bodysuit and black and white striped espadrilles. The past few weeks it has been raining and a bit miserable. This weekend my Mother was in town and we headed up to the Botanical Gardens in the Bronx. I wanted to wear my new favorite denim skirt and was able to pull it off with riding boots, striped tee, leather jacket, and a scarf. No matter the weather this skirt really does go with everything.

I’m a big fan of thredUP and I’ll be shopping with them in the near future. I mean come on I got a bad ass Eddie Bauer skirt for $14 and a total of 4 items for $50. It doesn’t get anymore Trendy Not Spendy than that. Stay tuned for more TNS and thredUP!
