According to my calendar, yesterday was the first day of Autumn. From what I hear Fall is the best time of year in New York. I have yet to experience one and I am beyond excited for whats to come. I’ve put together a little Fall must do’s list TNS style.
Events to attend:
49ers vs. Giants: Sunday Scaries will be in full effect for this 8:30pm game.
Oktoberfest: It’s the sausage you’ve been saving yourself for.
New York Wine and Food Festival: From Gangsters Paradise to Cooking with Coolio (lol).
Places to see:
Central Park: Leave, trees, yes please!
Sleepy Hollow: Headless Horseman spooky cemeteries, and Jack O’Lanterns galore.
New York Botanical Gardens: 250 acres of Autumn leaves.
Mystic Seaport: A little slice of New England
Staten Island Ferry: It’s free and stops off at 3 NY Parks.
Eats and Drinks:
Cider Week: Umm yum!
Apple Picking: Nothing like a warm apple pie 😉
Pickle Day: I like pickles, do you like pickles?
Spoons, Toons, and Booze: All you can eat cereal and White Russians seri!?
I’m sure I’ll have so much more to add to this list. Not only am I thrilled about all the Fall foliage, I can’t wait for the Fall fashion. Stay tuned for more Fall to follow!
