Just because the temps have dropped and all signs point to fall, it doesn’t mean you should hang up your floral dresses just yet. I made sure that this summer when shopping for dresses I’d be more strategic to make sure I’d get a multiple season wear out of them.
I know once fall hits we think plaid plaid plaid, but don’t forget our floral friends because they can come out an play too. What’s great about a good floral dress is that most of the time you can throw on a chunky sweater over it, or an over-sized cardigan, and any pair of boots or booties.
This cream floral midi dress I got in late August was one of my favorite dresses yet. The quality is phenomenal, it fits comfortably, and the colors are very versatile. I wore this dress to work, a bridal shower, and out and about. I haven’t transitioned it just yet into the fall rotation, but I know exactly what this dress will look good with.
I’m for sure going to wear this dress two ways. First, I’m gonna throw a fuzzy chunky cream sweater over it, turning it into a skirt and with my brown over the knee boots. Second, I think I’ll put on my oversize olive green cardigan and tan booties. As long as you have the right sweaters you’re good.
