Do you ever see a dress and it’s love at first site and you need to have it? This happened to me with this rainbow striped dress from ASOS. I actually bought this dress back in June for a friends rehearsal dinner, but never ended up wearing it. I knew the next best place to make a statement would be at Fashion Week.
Of course Mother Nature decided to take a shit on me, and the on the day I finally decided to wear this dress it was raining. It’s safe to say this dress isn’t meant for the rain. However, the show must go on. I actually wore this dress two ways during Fashion Week. I wish I would have photographed it for you, but I’m sure you can paint the picture with your imagination. The first way worn is featured in this post and the second look was with a sweater. If you untie the top of this dress it actually turns into an adorable wrap skirt. I threw a oversized magenta sweater on and tucked it in and it looked super cute. I love outfits that are so versatile. When the weather drops, I’ll add an over the knee boot for yet another look.
To top off the look I decided to wear these badass snake earrings from Sheinside. These snake earrings will make a statement with any outfit I wear. They also come in gold and no joke they’re just $3. Yup, 3 bucks!
I’m sure when you look at this dress you probably have many questions and reservations. I don’t blame you because finding the right fit was a little tricky. I’m a size 6 dress with a 34D bust. I first ordered a size 8 and even though it covered my chest it was way too loose around the waist. I ended up exchanging it for a size 6 and it fit just right. I felt fully supported and real didn’t have to worry about side or underneath boob. It runs true to size and if it takes you a few orders to find your size it’s totally worth it. I will say this dress it probably better with a C and under bust. I was still fine, but think a smaller bust is best.
This was such a solid purchase and I absolutely adore this versatile rainbow wrap dress from ASOS. Another great thing about this dress is the price. It’s only $50 keeping you Trendy Not Spendy.
