A Military Coat Must

When we first moved to NYC we said we’d only stay a year, then a year turned into two, and now we are settling on three(ish). We went out apartment hunting last weekend to find the perfect West Village apartment for our last year in New York. Nothing like a new stylish jacket and comfy boots to get you through the hunt.

I recently became a first time customer of Zaful. With five months of cold weather I needed more jackets to add to the rotation. I just got this incredible double breasted wool military coat from Zaful and it’s my favorite jacket right now. The military style really spices up the plain black wool jacket that everyone has. I highly recommend this jacket and for $65 you can’t go wrong. The quality of the jacket is really nice. The only downfall about the coat is it runs really small. I’m wearing a large here and it fits just right, it could be a little tighter around the waist but that’s okay. Basically, the bigger the chest the bigger the size. Not to worry though, they have sizes all the way up to 2XL.

I also got this mustard Zaful sweater dress that is so warm. We walked around for hours that day and in 40 degree weather the dress and jacket was perfect. I thought a hat would be a fun addition to the outfit, even though my husband kept saying I looked like a train conductor all day. Paired with my go to OTK’s I was ready to do some apartment hunting.

Halfway through the apartment hunt it started snowing pretty hard. I love it when the snow falls. Being that I’m from California I still geek out every time it snows. That train conductor hat wasn’t all bad when it covered my face and block the snow.

We still haven’t found our dream apartment but at least I found the perfect jacket in the meantime. Sadly, this dress is sold out however, it comes in green as well. If you have your heart set on mustard I shared a less expensive option below. The jacket and sweater dress combined was just around $100! Thank you Zaful for keeping me Trendy Not Spendy.
