The Must Have Maxi

New York Fashion Week is over and I’m at home with a cold so I have plenty of time to recap the week. NYFW should really come with a disclaimer – get lots of rest the weeks leading up and wear comfy shoes. Seriously, you’d be surprised how many girls rocked tennis shoes with their fashion week ensemble.

One of my favorite parties of NYFW is the ShopStyle Socialhouse event. Champagne, shopping, and socializing with my favorite blogger babes all in one event. Not to mention the ShopStyle staff is amazing! All the ladies make you feel like you’re apart of the family at every event. At the Socialhouse you shop their closets which are packed with the best designers and the options are endless.

At the Socialhouse in February I swooped up all the floral Yumi Kim rompers so this time around I knew I was going to go in a similar direction and headed straight for the Yumi Kim maxis. I picked up the fabulous Brooklyn maxi dress that is perfect for fall. Paired with these Sam Edelman Yardley Suede lace up heels.

I recently asked some of my blog readers for feedback about my blog and they asked for more solid reviews about the products I’m write about. They asked and I listened. So here we go…

This Yumi Kim maxi dress is a tad spendy but for the quality it’s well worth it.
The buttons from head to toe allow you to be conservative or get flirty and show a lot of leg.
This dress may me hard for the top heavy gal because it was way too chesty for my comfort level.
These Sam Edelman lace up heels are INSANELY comfortable. You can dance all night in these shoes.
Overall I say buy it!
